    5th International Symposium on Explosion, Shock wave and High-strain-rate Phenomena, Beijing, China, Sept. 25-28, 2016

    The 5th International Symposium on Explosion, Shock wave and High-strain-rate Phenomena (ESHP2016) will be held in Beijing, China during September 25-28, 2016.
    The symposium is comprised of invited and contributed talks. The main topics include deflagration, detonation, and shock chemistry of energetic and reactive materials; shock wave and related phenomena in condensed and gaseous phases; response of materials and structures under high strain rates; production of materials by shock and detonation waves (Shock induced phase transition and chemical reactions, explosive welding, shock modification, etc); innovative application of high-energy-rate phenomena. Additional contributions from related research areas are also welcome.
