HYDRO 2013 INTERNATIONAL

The Conference on Hydraulics, Water resources, coastal and Environmental Engineering (HYDRO 2013 INTERNATIONAL) jointly organized by Departments of Ocean Engineering and Civil Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM), Chennai will be held in IIT Madras during 4-6 Dec 2013. As a pre-conference event, an International workshop on Ocean wave energy jointly organized by Departments of Ocean Engineering, IITM and Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) will be held on 2 and 3 Dec 2013. Both the events are sponsored by Indian Society for Hydraulics (ISH) and International Association for Hydro-Environment Engineering and Research (IAHR). As one of the researchers being actively involved in research and development in one or more field of specialization that can be found in the brochures attached, we would be delighted if you consider these events as forums to project your ideas, R&D that you are involved in and also facilitate others to share with your thoughts. While, the conference will deal with the aspects of water related engineering including planning, design, construction, and management, with a view to share experiences through paper presentations, key-note and invited lectures, the workshop will cover topics on applications of wave energy systems through renowned and eminent international scientists and engineers, as well as presenting different projects performed in India, Norway and elsewhere to show the challenges to improve the technology.
